Description
Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family. Specifically, we focus on integrated autism care and a play-based model of ABA therapy based on the principles of the Early Start Denver Model. This role will begin with 75% of capacity practicing as a BCBA, with remaining 25% performing responsibilities outlined below. Within 6 months, this role will transition to be 100% of capacity focusing on the responsibilities outlined below.
What you will be doing:
The Clinical RBT Trainer is responsible for new trainee growth and development at two local centers (arriving to their local center after 2 weeks of Centralized Training)
Support initial and ongoing RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs
Support 3-4 case supervisors as they grow their clinical and decision making skills
Provide 20 weekly hours of billable supervision, focused on providing supervision to trainees during their first 4 weeks at Soar, and case supervisors preparing for the BCBA exam
Host bi-weekly group training and discussion sessions for new trainees at their home center
Build trainees skill sets in ESDM practices and ABA strategies, including joint activity routines, responding to challenging behavior, data collection/documentation, and evidence based teaching strategies
Organize and host quarterly, center level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs (attendance optional)
Collaborate with the Partner Clinician and Center Operations Director regarding RBT performance and needed performance improvement initiatives
Act as a clinical leader in the center on days when the Partner Clinician is not present
Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years of starting your role as a Clinical RBT Trainer

What You Have
Minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
Preferred candidates have a background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field
3 or more years of experience as Board Certified Behavior Analyst
ABA early intervention experience

Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing
Fluency in navigating devices such as computers and tablets
