Description
Role Summary:
As an SLP at Soar, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD
Developing and executing detailed treatment plans aimed at improving the communication abilities of children aged 2-6, employing a diverse array of therapeutic techniques and instruments
Collaborating extensively with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care
Actively involving families in the treatment process by providing them with education, resources, and support to foster their child's speech and language development
Regularly evaluating and documenting the progress of each child, fine-tuning interventions as necessary to maximize effectiveness
Qualifications
Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy
Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
License to practice speech pathology in the state of your chosen center (i.e., Arizona or Colorado)
Preference to SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career
Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams
Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children

The salary for Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows is $73,000.
