Description

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Demonstrate understanding of evidence-based practice, knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacological implications, regulatory issues, and service line disease process.
Accurately and thoroughly document assessments, perform clinical procedures (IV, Foley, dressings), provide effective patient and family education, and meet standards in proper use of telemonitoring, IV, vent, and safe medication administration.
Recognize changes in patient's condition and role model safety behaviors.
Report errors and daily and near misses, and act as a patient advocate.
Work independently and as part of the team.
Accept constructive feedback and maintain a professional appearance.
Complete tasks in a timely manner and accept duties as assigned.
Take initiative and conduct necessary follow-up.
Requirements:
CA RN Licensure
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
PALS
2 years of experience in ED
