Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
The Telemetry RN delivers and coordinates the delivery of care for acutely ill adult and geriatric patients who require cardiac monitoring so that physiological, psychosocial, safety, learning and self-care needs of patients and their families are addressed.
The RN uses his/her understanding of physiology/pathophysiology, nursing process, technology and interpersonal communications to accomplish these accountabilities.

Certification Requirements:
ACLS
BLS
CA RN License
EKG Interpretation - REQUIREDPrimary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Provides direct nursing care for patients of all age/developmental stages in assigned areas using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsible for managing care of assigned patients and directing activities of ancillary staff.
Assesses patients' physiological and psychological needs and strengths in a competent and comprehensive manner.
Plans, implements and evaluates patients' care plan.
Demonstrates commitment to professional practice including those skills necessary to manage a patient care assignment in a cost justifiable manner.
Demonstrates leadership skills through performance of charge nurse functions.
Registered Nurse for Med Surg Tele Unit.

Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
CA RN License
PALS- strongly recommended
