Job Details
Average Daily Census: 55-60
Shift: 12 hours (36 hours only, no overtime billed until after 40 hours)
Contract Duration: Accepts contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to cover the holiday period
Requested Time Off (RTO): Maximum of 7 days
Float Requirement: Yes, floating is required
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, minimum of 9 weekend shifts per contract
Note: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be arranged onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO could lead to cancellation and Do Not Return (DNR).
Required Skills / Certifications / Experience
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of inpatient behavioral health
Traveler Experience: Unit does not accept first-time travelers
Locals Accepted with Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Locked Unit, Medical/Psych, Cardiac arrest/CPR, Medication Administration (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC, etc.)
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
Patient Diagnoses
The facility is a 62-bed hospital located in Wilmington, NC, comprising four units offering comprehensive treatment to adults with acute symptoms of mental health disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, etc. We provide a safe and secure environment for patients to receive therapeutic care and support throughout their inpatient stay. Our team consists of board-certified behavioral health professionals.
