As a primary nurse, you will be responsible for managing the overall nursing care provided to patients, ensuring it is competent, compassionate, and cost-effective from admission to discharge. Your duties will include:

• Ensuring the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients
• Performing disease prevention and restorative measures
• Responding to medical and environmental emergencies

• Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards of care
• Plan and coordinate care delivery to maximize efficiency and maintain a safe environment
• Set priorities for and provide patient care in both routine and complex situations
• Serve as a liaison between nursing and medical staff to facilitate collaborative patient care
• Coordinate involvement of patient, physician, family, and health team members to achieve optimal patient care

• Demonstrates working knowledge of patient care techniques, medications, treatments, and general healthcare procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Ability to provide basic patient care to a diverse patient population
• Demonstrate leadership abilities
