Location: Wilmington
Shift: Nights
Contract Duration: Up to March 15, 2025
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
Patient Ratio: Target ratios of 1:6-7

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an inpatient setting
Certifications: BLS and Chemotherapy Administration Certification (required prior to start)
Skills: Administering chemotherapy, colostomy care, accessing ports, blood product administration, and more
Preferred Skills: CPI, charge nurse experience, OCN

Responsibilities

Provide care primarily to medical-surgical patients with oncology history
Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy via IV, PO, or injection
Float as required to similar units and alternate care locations
Participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events
Attend monthly staff meetings

Additional Information

Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
Scrubs: Navy Blue and White
Orientation: 24 hours (2 shifts)
