Description

Travel Incentives

Travel rate available for local travelers if their start date is on or before December 16.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years
Skills: Teamwork approach to patient care, focus on patient safety
Certifications: ACLS and BLS

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: NIH
Experience: Neuro experience preferred
Leadership: Experience or willingness to learn the charge nurse role preferred

Job Details

Patient Ratios: 1:6
Shift: Night, 36 or 48 hours accepted. No OT billed until after 48 hours if on a 48-hour shift.
Contract Length: Accepting contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025, with a hard stop to cover the holiday season.
RTO: Maximum of 7 days; no RTO allowed after booking or onsite.
Float Requirement: Yes, travelers float first
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Additional Responsibilities

Contract staff will be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur, with preassignments to units as needed.

Focus on general medicine with an emphasis on neuro.

Medication: Pyxis
Documentation: EPIC
Communication: SBAR

Scheduling

Managed by the unit manager.

Orientation and Attire

Unit Orientation: 24 hours
Scrubs: Navy Blue
