Travel Incentives

Travel rates are available for local travelers starting on or before December 16, 2024.

Schedule and Shifts

36-hour shifts available
12-hour night shifts: 18:45 - 07:15
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Contracts available from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025

Responsibilities

Our unit handles approximately 30 births a month, with a projected increase to 80 births starting January 2025. You will be responsible for:

Serving as a labor and delivery nurse, baby nurse, and baby stabilization if needed
C/S circulator and C/S PACU recovery
Caring for postpartum and neonatal patients

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience
First-time travelers accepted
Proficiency in antepartum, labor & delivery, high-risk antepartum, level 1 nursery, LDRP, and mother/baby care
Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP & STABLE

Preferred Skills

Experience with facilities handling less than 100 births/month

Unit Details

8-bed LDRP with 7 overflow beds for postpartum patients (15 total rooms)
Patient ratios: Postpartum 1:3-4; Labor 1:1-2
Standard equipment and systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
36-hour unit orientation
