Required Skills and Certifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience
Skills: Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring
Experience with Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal
Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management
Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone
Certifications: ACLS

Job Details

Patient Ratios: 1:6-7
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (36 hours only)
Contract Duration: Accepting contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to cover the holiday period
RTO: 7 days maximum
Float Requirement: Yes, required
Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (every other weekend)
Contract staff must be prepared to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters

Special Procedures and Unit Details

The unit monitors cardiac patients and manages cardiac drips such as Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, and Dopamine. Additional procedures include Sheath Pulls, TR Bands, and Femstop.
