Description

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to patients in a variable med-surg unit, focusing on cardiac and neurology services.
Manage and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias.
Float as needed to other Med/Surg units.
Work with a patient ratio of 1:5/6.
Adhere to weekend requirements, working every other weekend.
Care for COVID patients as necessary, with exceptions for pregnant team members.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
First-time travelers are welcome.
Proficiency in IV start, telemetry, and dysrhythmia management.
Certifications: BCLS and NIH required; ACLS preferred.
Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Job Details

Contract length: Up to 13 weeks, with a hard stop on March 15, 2025.
Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15).
Work hours: 36 or 48 hours per week; no overtime billed until after 48 hours.
Maximum RTO: 7 days for Aya Auto Offer.
Orientation: 2, 12-hour shifts, plus hospital orientation in the first week.
Scrubs: Any combination of navy and white.
