Our team is looking for skilled individuals to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working with a diverse patient population and requires a high level of expertise and commitment.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the last 5 years.
• Traveler Experience: Open to first-time travelers.
• Skills:
  • Heparin drips, PCA, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management
  • Blood product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management
  • PICC line management, IV starts, Management of dysrhythmias, O2 Protocol Management
  • Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Traumatic Brain injury
  • Ortho trauma, surgical drains, chest tubes- Emerson/Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula
  • Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound care
• Certifications: Active RN license and BLS required.
• Preferred Skills: ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries.

• Shift: 12-hour nights, 36 or 48 hours accepted. No overtime billed until after 48 hours if choosing 48-hour shifts.
• Contract Length: Flexible contracts available from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025.
• Additional Responsibilities: May be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Expected to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster situations.
• Float Requirement: Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Holiday Requirement: Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays.

• Severe injury to the bones, joints, and/or soft tissue
• Traumatic brain injuries
• Spine injuries, pain
• Neurological trauma/nerve damage (small population)
• Subdural hematoma

• 12-hour unit orientation
• 16-hour organizational education
