As a Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. You will deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients in your assigned area, fostering collaborative relationships between patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

• Conducts comprehensive patient and family assessments.
• Collaborates and communicates with healthcare team members to ensure a patient-centric plan of care.
• Partners with peers, management, and other healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes and care quality.
• Communicates patients' plans of care across shifts and departments.

• Provides competent and compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and evidence-based practices.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
• Delegates tasks effectively to team members based on legal scopes of practice and individual capability.
• Communicates treatments and activities clearly to patients and families, ensuring understanding and addressing educational needs.
• Maintains mindfulness in delivering individualized care with a safety focus.
• Upholds patient confidentiality and adheres to all regulations to provide the highest level of patient care.
• Stays current with advancements and best practices in acute care and professional nursing practice.

• Monitors patient care interventions, evaluates outcomes, and intervenes as needed.
• Conducts ongoing education for patients and families to ensure optimal care through transitions.
• Reassesses and documents each patient's response to care plans, adjusting as necessary.
• Reports safety or compliance concerns and participates in safety events to prevent future occurrences.
• Develops and implements teaching and transition plans involving patients and families.
• Validates competency of newly hired and/or student staff and serves as a clinical resource and mentor.
