Job Details

Shift: 10-hour weekdays, 4x10-hour shifts (07:30 - 17:00). No overtime billed until after 40 hours
Ratios: Confirming
Request Time Off (RTO): 7 days maximum
Call Requirement: 1, Monday to Friday; 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
Float Requirement: Yes, within Radiology Nursing
Weekend Requirement: Call rotation is 1:5, every fifth weekend (Saturday and Sunday), and various days throughout the week

Patient Diagnoses

Our patients include acute inpatient population, ED emergent population, and outpatient routine procedures. Common diagnoses include bleeds, cancer, end of life, fibroids, vascular disease, urological comorbidities, and failure to thrive.

Special Procedures and Unit Details

Interventional body procedures: Port, Pluerx, gastrostomy tube, nephrostomy tube placements
Embolizations for bleeding, fibroids, and chemo
Liver cancer treatment/SIRT

Special Equipment

Monitoring, capnography

Unit Systems

Medication: Pyxis
Documentation: EPIC
Communication: SBAR
