• Travel Rate: Available for local travelers if their start date is on or before 12/16.
• Shift: 12-hour nights from 18:45 - 07:15, with 36 hours offered per week.
• Contract Length: Accepting contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
• Float Requirement: Required as needed to the Special Maternity Care high-risk OB unit.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years, preferably 3 years, in a similar high-volume setting. Unit will accept first-time travelers.
• Skills: Circulate, sterile vaginal exam, and competent in immediate newborn care.
• Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP.

Our unit handles obstetrical patients 16 weeks and greater for all intrapartum and high-risk antepartum and postpartum care. We also care for under 16 weeks high-risk patients on our high-risk maternity unit. The Birthing Care Unit includes an obstetrical triage unit for patient screening and routine outpatient procedures. Scheduled and unscheduled Cesarean births and rescue cervical cerclage are performed.

• Ratios: 2:1, with an average of 20 births in 24 hours, 30-40 admits, and 40 visits per day across 20 rooms.
• Pace: Very fast-paced, with higher acuity than might be normally expected. Strong preference for RNs with OR circulate experience.
• Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
• Orientation: 24 hours provided.
• Scrubs: Provided (blue).
