Join our dedicated team at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in North Carolina, where you can make a significant impact in the lives of our patients. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional for our dynamic unit.

• Shift: 12-hour Nights (18:45-07:15), Tuesday to Thursday schedule with occasional weekends.
• Target Ratios: 1:6-7
• Float Requirement: Floating as needed, with potential coverage in the sister unit's ER holding area.
• Holiday RTO: Cannot approve RTO for 12/24 or 12/25.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, or 1 year with travel experience.
• MS/tele experience required, telemetry experience preferred.
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Use of rapid response teams.
• Blood product administration.
• Central and peripheral line care/management.
• Nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management.
• Isolation precautions.
• Certifications: BLS and NIH required.

Our unit handles a variety of cases, including general surgery and medical tele cardiac telemetry/medical telemetry. You'll work with patients requiring medical intervention or surgical procedures, particularly during the winter census overflow.

• Medication, Documentation, Communication: Pyxis, EPIC (preferred).
• Unit Orientation: 36 hours.
• Hospital Orientation: Available during the first week; attendance is mandatory for all classes.

• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Travel rate available for local travelers starting on or before 12/13.
• RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be negotiated onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation and DNR.
