Description

Job Highlights

Travel Rate: Available for local travelers starting on or before 12/13.
Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45-07:15) from Friday to Monday, with potential holiday shifts.
Target Ratios: 1:6-7
Hours: 48 hours offered, no overtime billed until after 48 hours.
Float Requirement: May float to sister unit with ER holding coverage as needed.
Scrubs: Navy Blue

Required Skills and Certifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years, or 1 year with travel experience. First-time travelers accepted.
Skills: MS/tele experience, telemetry, dysrhythmia management, rapid response, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions.
Certifications: BLS and NIH required.

Patient Care and Unit Details

Patient Diagnoses: General surgery and medical tele cardiac telemetry, requiring medical intervention or surgical procedures.
Special Procedures: General surgery, surgical procedures.
Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC (preferred).

Additional Information

Holiday RTO: Cannot approve 12/24 or 12/25 RTO.
Unit Orientation: 36 hours, with hospital orientation during the first week.
