Description

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the outpatient setting.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with minor procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Document assessments, care plans, and interventions in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Provide health education to patients and their families.
Offer emotional support, addressing patient concerns and questions.
Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on best practices and contribute to the enhancement of outpatient services.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
Maintain infection control standards within the outpatient department.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient nursing.
BLS certification required.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
