Registered Nurse - NICU (Neonatal ICU)
Annual Salary: Competitive
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (12 HR Nights, 19:00-07:00)
Join the facility as a Registered Nurse in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This full-time night shift position is based in Dallas, TX, at a facility renowned for its comprehensive patient care and research. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are eager to advance their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing critical care to our youngest patients.
Day-to-day of the role:
Clinical Practice: Provide direct nursing care to neonates from 22 weeks gestational age to term, ensuring the highest level of care for the most vulnerable patients.
Patient Care: Assess neonates’ conditions, implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes to ensure comprehensive patient recovery and growth.
Specialized Assistance: Assist in medical procedures and treatments specific to neonatal care, under the guidance of neonatologists.
Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment in the NICU at all times, adhering to all internal and regulatory policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
License/Certification:
RN Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required within 30 days of hire.
Experience: At least two years of RN experience in a NICU, level III or higher.
Skills: Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage complex patient situations in a high-stress environment.
