Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Float Pool)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (12 HR Nights, 19:00-07:00)

Join the facility as a Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical Float Pool. This full-time night shift position is based in Dallas, TX, at a facility renowned for its comprehensive patient care and research. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are eager to advance their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing critical care across various medical-surgical units.

Day-to-day of the role:
Provide nursing care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting to the needs of various patient populations.
Assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues, ensuring optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay abreast of the latest medical-surgical nursing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Must hold a current RN license.
Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), with the expectation to obtain further certifications as needed.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in an acute care hospital setting is highly preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and unit needs.
The location of the candidate needs to be 30 mins or less for OR and any role with a call requirement.
