Registered Nurse - Motherbaby

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (12 HR Nights, 19:00-07:00)
Join the facility as a Registered Nurse in our Motherbaby unit, also known as the New Family Unit. This full-time night shift position is based in Dallas, TX, at a facility renowned for its comprehensive patient care and research. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are eager to advance their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing critical care to new mothers and their newborns.

Day-to-day of the role:
Provide postpartum nursing care and support to new mothers and their babies, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Manage patient care plans for mother-baby couplets, adjusting treatments as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate and support new mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, pediatricians, and lactation consultants to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Must hold a current RN license.
Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), both required within 30 days of hire.
At least one year of RN experience in Mother/Baby, level III or higher within a similar sized facility and couplet care (3-4).
Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and unit needs.
