Registered Nurse - Oncology

Annual Salary: Competitive
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (8 HR Days, 08:00-17:00)
Join the facility as a Registered Nurse in our Oncology Clinic, specializing in Neuro Oncology. This full-time position offers a structured weekday schedule and is based in Dallas, TX. We are seeking a dedicated RN who is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
Provide specialized care to patients within the Neuro Oncology unit.
Assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, develop personalized care plans, and regularly evaluate patient responses.
Use clinical judgment to prioritize patient needs and adjust care plans for optimal outcomes.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives, track indicators, and implement changes based on research.
Educate patients and staff, integrating education into care at all levels.
Utilize systems thinking to solve problems for patients, families, and staff.
Enhance the nursing practice and work environment through professional contributions and decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program with a focus or specialization in Nursing.
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification required.
Must be willing to obtain Oncology Certification within 6 months of hire.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
Commitment to providing patient-centered care that respects patient diversity.
The location of the candidate needs to be 30 mins or less for OR and any role with a call requirement.
