Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Annual Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (12 HR Nights, 19:00-07:00)

Join the Medical Surgical team as a Registered Nurse. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, overseeing patient care, and ensuring adherence to established nursing protocols.

Day-to-day of the role:
Provide direct nursing care in a diverse and dynamic medical-surgical environment.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
Administer medications and collaborate closely with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication and pain management techniques.
Advocate for patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree: RN
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
Certifications Required: Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting the job.
License: Must possess a current and valid nursing license.
