Not many deliveries (5 a month) so you will do med surg. Only one labor trained nurse in the hospital many times so not safe. You are really alone if you have a labor patient. Protect your license. Baby nurse for delivery can be the med Surg charge nurse that is not comfortable in the baby nurse role. Mostly travelers for L&D (95%) which are great to work with if you are lucky enough to have a second in the building. Med Surg ratios were good 3-4 with an aide. No in house med Surg Dr at night. Use Teledoc.

Pros

I have been traveling with ADEX and Lana as my recruiter for nearly 4 years now! I have never had to “fight” for my pay or stipends. Lana has always been my advocate to each facility I’ve traveled too. Lana responds quickly and handles any of questions very quickly.
