We are hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Salary Range: $30 - $36 an hour (DOE)

Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Hospice is responsible for providing quality patient care and performing technical skilled care in the patient's home.
- Performs skilled nursing services under the supervision of a staff RN daily.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments as permitted by state regulations.
- Assists the physician and/or staff RN in performing specialized procedures as needed.
- Assists the patient with daily activities and encourages appropriate self-care daily.
- Reports to the patient's physician and other appropriate personnel regarding pertinent changes in the patient's condition as needed.
- Performs complex wound care if in-service is documented for specific procedure daily or as needed.
Education and Experience
Formal Education: Associate Degree or certification equivalent
License, Registration, and / or Certification Requirement: Yes
License Requirements
- Unrestricted licensure in state of practice.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
