Description

36 & 48 hour options. main Cardiac Telemetry unit. The majority of these patients are on a cardiac monitor. They are monitored in a remote telemetry room, but also closely monitored on the unit. They do take cardiac drips. Their patient population is heart failure, heart attack (STEMI and NSTEMI), stroke (needing cardiac monitoring), cardiac arrhythmia's, chest pain, etc. They may also take overflow medical patients if needed. The certifications needed are ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
