Job Title: Behavioral Health • LVN/LPN • Mids

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced LVN/LPN to join their team in a behavioral health setting. This role requires a commitment to a 6•month contract, with a 40•hour work week, primarily during mid•shifts (2 pm • 10 pm). The successful candidate will be expected to work a rotating schedule, including three weekends a month, with two days off during the week.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing high•quality nursing care in an acute or long•term setting.

• Communicating effectively with peers, DSPs, PCPs, and patients.

• Complying with HHSC immunization requirements.

• Submitting to HHSC required drug tests and fingerprinting.

• Completing facility and HHSC required training.


Requirements:
• At least two years’ experience in nursing in an acute or long•term care setting.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Active Texas LPN/LVN Licensure.

• AHA BLS Certification.

• COVID•19 Vaccination.


Our client's location is in Abilene, Texas. On•site parking is available. The facility uses the Iris/Cerner EMR system.

Please note: Agency nurses may be required to float to other units as needed. Initially, nurses are oriented to multiple assignments before settling in where there’s the biggest need.
