Job Function:

• Patient preparation:  Take patient medical histories, shield areas that don't need to be imaged, and position patients for scans
• Imaging equipment operation:  Operate MRI scanners and adjust and maintain imaging equipment
• Image acquisition:  Select imaging techniques and coils to produce images, and inspect images for quality
• Patient communication:  Welcome patients, address their concerns, and explain the procedure
• Image archiving:  Use the image archiving system and transfer images to storage media
• Equipment maintenance:  Clean, disinfect, and inspect equipment, and perform tests to ensure it's working properly

Job Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited MRI program with current MRI certification
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification is required. IV certificate preferred.
• Philips experience preferred
