Description

Our client is a large scale company specializing in Optometry. They are currently in the process of acquiring a new Ambulatory Surgery Center, and are in need of PACU Nursing support.  


Job Function:

  • Day Shift
  • M-F 7:30-3:30
  • Work with the client's internal electronic medical record (EMR) system, no specific EMR system experience is required
  • Provides post-operative nursing care to the patient in an individual, emotionally supportive manner, consistent with any directions or orders given by the anesthesiologist and/or attending physician.  
  • Documents all nursing activities and writes a nursing discharge note when the anesthesiologist documents that the patient is ready to be transferred to the progressive recovery room.  

Job Requirements:

  • Current CT RN License/Registration
  • 1+ year PACU experience
