Description
Our client is one of the largest non-profit OPWDD organizations in New York, specializing in care for IDD adult patients diagnosed with varying degrees of Cerebral Palsy, is seeking a nurse case manager with flexible scheduling. The weekly pay for this position is $1,600 -$1,800.
Job Function:
- Oversee direct support professionals in a various home-care settings (from small houses to apartment complexes)
- Responsible for about 2 houses with about 5-10 patients in each, at most.
- Float between houses each day of the week as per required by patients' needs, but will only need to report to one home each day. (They will not need to float among multiple house in a single day.)
- Hands-off nursing position where the candidate will be directing professionals on how to care for the patients and not doing the hands-on care taking work themselves.
- Consistent documentation on a regular basis.
Job Requirements:
- New York State RN License
- Willingness to work with IDD population and be flexible with scheduling
