Felt like some of the equipment provided was outdated, also ran out of supplies. This facility is also a non teaching hospital so you are working under the same MDs on multiple floors who get frustrated with phone calls easily.

Toxic nursing culture. Management has severe favoritism and calls you into the office for any little thing and hearsay. Staff nurses are hateful and spiteful. They seek to put you down. New grads only get 8wk orientation for icu. And are constantly bullied by other staff nurses. Mistakes are made bc of this. Dangerous place, avoid for the sake of your license.

No teamwork. Watch your back. Dangerous working conditions. Techs do not do their job. Managers cover for them
