Job Summary
This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Job Summary

 This role provides leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization.  Position Qualifications
EDUCATION

 Required: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health care related field or a BSN.


 Preferred: MSN or master’s in a health care related field.


  


 EXPERIENCE


 Required: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.


  


 CERTIFICATIONS


 Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. AHA BLS - At hire or obtain w/in 5 working days before assuming patient care (2 yr renewal) and ACLS - At hire or obtain within 60 days of hire/transfer (2 yr renewal).
