Very traveler friendly, 1:6 ratio ms/tele. Can float to critical care units to take MS/Tele holds patients. Staff nurses are accommodating and willing to help all travelers, float or unit. Aides, phlebotomists, RT are very helpful. Doctors can be hard to reach at times, but easy to work with.

You get floated frequently as a traveler and sometimes as many as 3 times per shift ( you can start in ED holds for 4 hours then be sent to ICU for 4 hours and finish your night on medsurg/tele for 4 hours and you always are given the crappiest assignment on any floor you float to. Culture is rife with passive aggression and enmity towards travel or agency RNs. The ICU staff RNs are very cliquey. Save yourself the grief if you’re an ICU/CTICU rn. Also if you do sign a contract for ICU or CTICU be prepared to be told on day 1 that you’re actually a float pool nurse
