Honestly, I’ve been a NICU nurse for 8 years. I’ve worked in 10+ hospitals including the “number 1 NICU in the country”, as well as NICUs overseas. Texas children’s NICU is the most well organized unit I’ve ever worked in. The patient care is excellent, the communication between doctors and parents is excellent. They have staffing issues like everyone else but ultimately they do it better than any one else at this point. Highly recommend.

Staff is unfriendly and unwilling to help. Charge nurses just sit at the desk and they do not do anything other than sitting at the desk and shopping online. The doctors there seem to have half a brain. The manager is a micromanager and is not kind. Will not be going back there.
