Love SIRH! Small hospital, everyone knows everyone. Teamwork is above average from any other facility I’ve worked at. Not acute care where the patient is only there for a few days, but not long term care either. You do get to know your patient’s and their families. Average stay is 12-30 days. Wide range of skills to master. The focus is therapy so having to work around therapy to get treatments completed during your shift can be challenging, but communication between departments is fine for the most part. Clinical ladders for raises/other opportunities. They will do their best to work with your schedule. Some of the equipment is outdated compared to larger hospitals but nothing that compromises safety. Been here for 2 years and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.
