Generous contract, easy job, easy acuity, nice coworkers, tiny facility

Selected out of many others for a high paying contract was so excited and proud. Drove 800 miles signed a lease on apartment. Was so excited. Bad luck at home I broke my wrist 2nd week, they cancelled my contract without warning leaving me hanging. Only a worked 1 day on my own. Worst part is, I met et all their requirements, acted in good faith got paperwork from MD back to work, did my job no restrictions no cast or brace. It nearly killed me but I did it to keep my job and honor my commitment. But they cancelled me anyway. Took a month to heal got a job at nearby hospital for less money. Had to take out a heloc on my home to get back on my feet. They really did me wrong. They seemed so nice too. Guess not. Talked to some staff nurses there and heard similar stories. Not feeling the small town welcome I expected.
