Worked in the ED. I enjoyed my time there, met some great people, saw some amazing things. ED is traveler friendly. Have not heard so well about the other units however. Mostly 6 Months contracts. A little long IMO. Kind of far from the city, but if you like hiking this area is great. I may go back some day.

      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with a current CA license, a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience, and required certifications for a 13-week assignment.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in the Cath Lab of an acute care hospital</li><li>Patient population includes those with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias</li><li>Perform procedures such as coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventions and permanent pacemaker placements</li><li>Daily caseload averages 8–12 cases</li><li>Epic EMR is used and experience is required</li><li>Day shift schedule (4x10-hour shifts), 6:30–19:00, with weekend and on-call requirements</li><li>No floating required for this assignment</li><li>First time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Orientation consists of 30 hours</li><li>Call is required as part of the position</li><li>Block scheduling may be considered upon request</li><li>Most RTO must be approved at the time of application</li><li>Scrubs are provided in the Cath Lab</li><li>Free parking is available during assignment</li><li>Returning former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible as a traveler</li><li>Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state according to operational needs</li><li>Local candidates are accepted</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active CA RN license required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required</li><li>Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, Fluoro Permit (RCIS only is not accepted)</li><li>Willing to consider candidates with pending Fluoro permits if already applied</li><li>Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last three years in a comparable specialty</li><li>Epic charting system experience required</li></ul>
