Great ratios. Highly trained staff. Lots of hospital resources.
Cons
Virtually no OT and if you pick up and they don’t need you, you aren’t called off you’re put on “release” which means they can call you in at any time for that shift. Stipends are low and fully taxed.

UCH Aurora RT Department
The management at UCH Aurora is notorious for the horrible management, specially with the manager and director. There have been multiple mass exoduses of RTs since 2020, with management constantly pointing the finger at staff vs looking inward. Tons of gaslighting and toxic behaviors. Management also will pin staff against each other to continue to elevate the drama.
