RESPONSIBILITIES

<ul>
	<li>Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table.
	</li><li>Administers contrast media oral and/or IV contrast in accordance with department policies and procedures, patient history indicators, exam protocols and physician orders and follows through with post exam instructions.
	</li><li>Enters data such as type of scan, slice thickness, scan time and other technical data into computer.
	</li><li>Communicates with patient before and during procedure; monitors safety, comfort.
	</li><li>Views images of organs or tissue on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures; produces radiographs.
	</li><li>Performs CT equipment QA and maintains required logs.
	</li><li>Performs clerical tasks such as receiving orders, scheduling patients, and recordkeeping.
	</li><li>Maintains and cleans work area and equipment; replenishes supplies as needed

Qualifications

Required:

<ul>
	<li>ARRT
	</li><li>IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety
	</li><li>BLS through American Heart Association
	</li><li>2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent
	</li><li>1 to 3 years experience
	</li><li>Physical Demands Requirement:
	<ul>
		<li> Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds
	</li></ul>
	
</li></ul>

Preferred:

<ul>
	<li>ARRT registry in CT or MRI - must have working experience and be willing to obtain within 12 months from date of hire.
</li></ul>
