Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:
• Work 5 - 8 hour days per week with 0700 or 0830 start times as assigned 
• Must work 4 weekends (Saturday/Sunday) during 13-week assignment 
• Call requirements with 30-minute response time 
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), ARRT, BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) 
• Minimum 3 years cath lab experience required 
• Must be able to scrub/circulate STEMI procedures 
• Must be willing to learn circulating/monitoring in neuro interventional for call 
• Experience with high risk coronary intervention and STEMI intervention scrubbing required 
• Job duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in 6 cath lab suites 
• Handle approximately 18 cases per day on average 
• Work with coronary and neuro patients, including high risk coronary cases 
• May be floated to EP/IR departments 
• Scrubs provided by facility 
• Work with Epic/McKesson systems 
• 5-shift orientation during first week 
• Active Illinois license required 
• Must pass drug screening as facility maintains drug-free campus policy

 <ul><li>Full-time position in a cardiac cath lab within an acute care hospital</li><li>6 lab suites with an average of 18 procedures per day</li><li>Care for patients with coronary and neuro diagnoses, including high-risk coronary interventions and STEMI cases</li><li>Duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating</li><li>Willingness to learn and assist with neurointerventional procedures for call coverage</li><li>Potential to float to EP or IR as needed</li><li>5 eight-hour day shifts per week, with start times at 0700 or 0830 as assigned</li><li>Weekend call required for 4 weekends during the 13-week assignment, with a 30-minute call response time</li><li>Scrubs are provided for all shifts</li><li>Utilizes Epic and McKesson EMR systems, Epic experience preferred</li><li>Negative drug screen is required for campus access</li><li>Supervisor/charge support available during operating hours (0600-1630 M-F)</li><li>Comprehensive orientation period includes 5 shifts in the first week</li><li>No COVID vaccination required</li><li>No radius rule; local rates apply for those with a permanent address within 50 miles</li><li>Call and holiday coverage are required as scheduled</li></ul>
