I liked having Lisa as a lead, but I believe she is gone now. Supervisor Jolene is very friendly, but not helpful and xray department staff is nice, but they are the most understaffed hospital I have worked as a traveler and it’s because no one wants to work there. You will be in ER for hours with difficult patients by yourself or jumping from doing fluoro, to the main OR, to having to change scrubs again to go to women’s OR and then change scrubs just a few minutes later to go back to main OR and then inpatients etc. I will go back only if I’m desperate for quick cash.

NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

This facility’s practices are unsafe to both the nurse and the patient. They overload nurses with the patients and they will tell you that as long as you work for them, your license wont be at risk. This statement even came from a program director when I reported that the acuity of my 3 patients are not safe and it was necessary to break the triple. Unfortunately, my director also told me that it was the best that they can do.

Sterile Processing Technician

As a STERILE processing tech, be prepared to be disgusted as they do not carry proper PPE and I personally witnessed most if not all employees in decontamination wearing nothing but examination gloves...
When I left they hardly had anyone left in their department yet, they canceled all travel contracts due "Census".
