      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and an active Alaska license for inpatient and outpatient care at a critical access hospital.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is based in a 25-bed critical access hospital with primary focus on providing inpatient PT evaluations and treatments</li><li>Works with both in-patient and out-patient populations across multiple healthcare and community settings as assigned</li><li>Patient population spans a wide age range with diverse diagnoses and complex movement needs</li><li>Occasional off-site and out-of-town travel is required, potentially to remote locations by boat or small plane</li><li>Day shifts with weekends on a rotating basis</li><li>Responsible for evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of PT services for patients of all ages</li><li>Must document treatments and findings according to hospital policies for continuity of care and reimbursement</li><li>Participates in care conferences and collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams</li><li>Will provide education and home exercise programs to patients and families</li><li>Expected to assist in administrative duties, quality improvement, and program development</li><li>May direct the work of support staff, students, or interns as needed</li><li>Must adhere to APTA standards and hospital confidentiality, quality assurance, and safety guidelines</li><li>Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely assist patient mobility</li><li>Environment may include small spaces, fast pace, varied personalities, and possible exposure to infectious agents or latex</li><li>Position is covered under the Indian Child Protection Act</li></ul>
