Helpful and kind staff make it a good work environment. The night shift gals are young, but helpful. The providers are pretty rude and not a lot of continuity there. Good staff ratios most nights. Low acuity LDRP. But busy. Usually 1:4 couplet ratio. 1:1 or 1:2 with induction with prostaglandin

Iowa nurses are the best

Little to no support staff, as in lazy to zero techs. Zero lab support. Nurses are tasked to death.
Downtown campuses are even worse as this is where EMS takes high acuity pts. Same story downtown as far as support staff.

Little to no support staff

Had to take 8 pts 3 X in one week and, unsurprisingly, had two rapid responses on elective Ortho sx floor.  Took 12 patients once.  Hospital is 85% - 90% travel nurses.   Must float to three different hospitals.  Travelers are first to float always.

Up to 8 & 12 Patients per RN at times
