This hospital is now overseen by Trinity, and since then it has been a bit of a nightmare. Day nurses on telemetry units with drips etc are at 6 patients each on all acute care floors, the virtual are required to do Q2H rounding and not allowed to contact providers for you, the way to contact docs using perfect serve on the computer is a hit or miss, cerner is not a very integrated system so things get missed, and the demands to resources ratio in general are very inappropriate for a telemetry nurse. This hospital can’t keep its staff to save its life so you find a lot of travel nurse run floors.
