Majority of the staff is nice, but leadership and the unit needs improvement.  Everybody doesn’t seem to be on the same page.

Maternal - Newborn

Coming in under budget with minimal staffing seems to be more important than providing adequate patient care. Did not feel supported by my superiors. Favoritism is blatantly shown to specific staff. Not a very positive work environment overall.

Memorial Regional Medical Center Mechanicsville VA Unit: PCU—Cardio-Pulmonary Care Unit:
-Travel Only: Candidate must live at least 50 miles from the hospital to be considered a traveler.
-Arrhythmia Exam Required: Study guide available.

Certifications Required:
-Basic Life Support (BLS).
-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
-National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Progressive.
Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, or a similar environment.
