Very busy hospital with amazing doctors to work hand and hand with. Unorganized new residency program with unsafe structure. Understaff as most places are right now.

Surgical Technologist

Staff is very nice and it is nice that doctors/NPs work in the icu with you. So if you need someone they are there for you. On the other hand the turn over rate is very high. Most of the nurses are either brand new or travel/contract workers. They are understaffed and it is common to be tripled or if you have a 1 to 1 patient such as a CRRT you will always have a second patient. They don’t even try to keep the patient a 1 to 1. It is a good place to get experience but I would definitely not stay long term.

Staff was horrible, charge nurse was awful and mean! They have the you make more money then we do so you should work harder and take on more!!! Do not recommend at all!!!

If I could give 0/5 stars. I would. Felt like my license was on the line every time I went to work. No one follows policies or procedures. No one cares. Worst experience.

Very low pay with an extremely high patient load. Also x-ray equipment is often broken.
