MCR was great! They treated travelers like staff (in a good way) and ran very efficiently. The surgeons are great to work with as well. Amazing team!

This ED is technically a level 1 trauma center, but functions more like a 2. 20-something bed ED, but can easily flex to 30’s with hall beds, internally lobbies, and creative use of space. Strict 4:1 ratio, usually 3:1 in most zones. Quite a lot of ancillary staff provided, and float nurses available most often. Very experienced nurses, with inflated egos, but will play nicely if you have a good attitude and want to learn & be challenged. Much lower acuity than Denver metro trauma centers. Physician group is excellent, with very reasonable and collaborative practices. Travelers do not see traumas usually at this facility.

Medical Center of the Rockies (Loveland, CO 80538) Loveland CO High School diploma or GED or graduate of a certificate, license or degree granting program, or post-secondary educational program in a health science or Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) program or Cardiac Technologist program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level; BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. 
HIGHLY PREFERRED: ARRT Certification.
