Just finishing my LTA here as an RT, trinity first choice will cut your rates at the drop of a hat. Staff unhappy. Lots of bad travelers here. Culture in PICU is rather anti-RT. Don’t expect a warm welcome from nurses.

Rate does not match acuity

Patient load and population very heavy and you float almost everyday and they float twice a shift sometimes

Unsalvageable.  They should can the entire department management team and most of the staff and rebuild from scratch.

I was misled to believe I was working med-tele when it was really a float position. Unsafe/inappropriate nurse/patient ratios and assignments due to Severe staffing issues. Nursing 100% responsible for daily and as needed lab draws. CNAs and nurses frequently pulled to other units mid-shift. Not a pleasure working there. Will never return.
