This place is absolute cake! Super easy and weekend schedule works great for me, super slow. 2 techs on weekends but you each run your own room. full time covers the Siemens room and takes care of inpatients and strokes and procedures. Traveler uses the GE machine and takes care of the ER and sees stroke patients if the other room is occupied. Transporters are mostly great (hence the 4 stars) but sometimes can be hit or miss. they may not communicate very well (like when they go to lunch or when their shift ends) and if you don't have a dedicated transport, good luck getting your patient in a timely manner. CT techs are not allowed to do IVs here but 99% of the patients will have a good IV when they arrive. nurses will sometimes take forever to get the IV though so your orders may be sitting there for 2 hours or more but that doesn't happen too often. Other CT staff are great and nice and helpful. I have no real complaints about this place. Pay is ok i guess but probably too low for cost of living in SoCal. i work 3x12s sat-mon, but they're open to fri-sun, and another traveler did sun-tues before i got here. they need weekends.
