This was my first assignment and I could not of picked a better hospital. The staff was all very kind and very helpful. The doctors are all nice! The Boardrunners are great. 10/10 recommend.

Ancillary support staffing is usually ok, but there are days when we have no phlebotomy services on days. Night shift is expected to draw their own labs. Most staff are friendly to travel nurses.

It's a beautiful place. Pretty good hospital. .

low staff pay rates, frequently out of ratio especially on night shift, admin is very political, low bonuses, not safe

Best co-workers you can ask for ever. Management was great when I started, but when that manager got promoted and a new one replacing that one, things started to take a turn. It especially went down hill after a certain individual became an assistant manager. Left before it got bad, but I know a few long term nurses that have left which was a big surprise. For them to leave it must have been terrible. Otherwise, Ballad Health is the epitome of a bad joke. Neck and neck with HCA facilities I’ve traveled to. Patients are treated as dollar signs and the nurses are treated worse than dog crap. Absolutely terrible company to work for. You’re better off getting out of nursing entirely if Ballad Health is your only option for a jobs
